I was mildly injured at a Dollar General and want to know what I should do..?

At the checkout counter, someone was installing a new turntable (that holds the plastic bags) and as he tore the tape off, a large piece fell off and hit me in my leg. It has caused a bruise and some very tender areas surrounding the bruise. I notified the manager who reluctantly wrote up a report. What do I do next? Anything?

If you are an American you should sue.

It is very important that the US remains the most litigious society in the world. The fact that everyone sues for minor injuries helps the global economy. It increases insurance premiums, making it more difficult for your less wealthy to afford insurance. This in turn widens the gap between the rich and poor, creates more crime, more unemployed. This stimulates the need for more jails, more social welfare, more government hospitals etc etc. Your internal problems direct attention away from your foreign policy allowing your government to attack other small nations. Meanwhile your economy turns to s**t as you direct tax-payer money to fighting pointless wars.

The upside is that the rest of the world benefits from this as investment flows out of the US into other countries. They enjoy record GDP and currency growth.

We all stand back and laugh as the US economy is at a record low and declining further. I better start learning Chinese/

So please do sue.
