ANKLES??? sharp pains or cramps ?? i n j u r y?
yesterday my ankle twisted to the right . and now the right side of my ankle feels like it has a cramo in it when i walk or it has a sharp pain in it when i walk
what did i do to it
very slight swelling and almost no bruising. ??
i can bend it and i can walk with no limp??but it still hurts alot
Sounds like a mild lateral ankle sprain and/or strain. You need to ice it down, continue to walk normal, and use an ACE bandage (light compression) for the swelling. Any discoloration that might turn up isn't exactly "Bruising" it is something called ecchymosis. Don't worry about that. Just use the Ice/ACE/Stretch your Ankle and do gentle circular motions to keep your range of motion full. If you plan on running anytime soon or playing sports, you may want to consider buying an Ankle Support Brace from a sports supply store. Good Luck!
